Battery, starter motor, alternator, immobiliser, fuel or sensor — Drova diagnoses non-starts on your driveway across Lincolnshire.
Safe to wait at home — A car that won't start is rarely an emergency — leave it where it is, don't jump-start repeatedly, and book a Drova visit. Repeated jumps can damage the battery and the engine ECU.
From £75. Mobile non-start diagnostic. If a part needs fitting, we quote in writing before any work starts. Replacement battery from £109 fitted and coded.
Most often a flat or failing 12V battery; sometimes a faulty starter motor solenoid. A battery load test and a voltage drop test on the starter circuit tells us which in about ten minutes on the driveway.
An occasional jump is fine. Repeatedly jump-starting a car with a deeper electrical fault can damage the alternator and ECU, so it's worth diagnosing the cause.
Yes — Drova carries a professional diagnostic scanner, a battery analyser and the test gear needed to pinpoint non-start faults on the driveway. We only replace parts after the cause is proved.
Drova's mobile non-start diagnostic starts at £75. If a part is needed, you get a written quote before we begin.
Across Lincolnshire most non-starts get a slot within 24–48 hours. If you're stranded somewhere awkward, call us — we'll do what we can to shuffle the diary.
Not always — if the car is on your own driveway and you can be reached by phone, we can diagnose without you stepping outside.
