Common signs are an engine management light, loss of power, hesitation under acceleration, rough idle, increased fuel use and (on diesels) black smoke or repeated failed DPF regens. Drova confirms the EGR is the cause with live data before quoting a replacement.

Most jobs take 90–180 minutes on the drive. Some diesels (BMW N47, 2.0 TDI common rail) need intake manifold removal, which adds 60–90 minutes — quoted up front.
